Well .. Im trying to install apps like 'J2MEMAP' and 'Google Map' onto my Razr v3 w/ T-Mobile .. I understand you need a internet plan ? I dont really know and no I dont have any web plan with T-Mobile .. but I was wondering if there was any other way of using the application ? For example, I heard you could use Bluetooth to connect it.. which one is better? can anyone tell me? ^_^ Im sorry Im really new to web apps and all that.. oh and I've been putting the .jar and .jad files of the apps by using MotoMidman .. is that okay? Please help me .. and Im sorry if I didnt make any sense.. Thanks in advance !!
If it is a .jad file it should install the same as any other, but it sounds like it would need to connect to the internet to get the maps.
Bumping is illegal according to forum rules. I thought that I answered your question, if not please elaborate.
Oh .. Im sorry ^_^ I should read the rules again.. I just need to know if theres any other way of connectin the app on your phone .. like you need web access to use the app right? I was wonderin if you could somehow connect it using some other way . A cheaper way preferably . =] Thanks in advance.
You mean like connecting through your PC's connection? I don't think that it will work like that. It probably won't even save the maps permanently.
Then can you tell me what I can use to connect to the web on my phone? Like every way possible . Thanks :]
I would really appreciate it if someone told me all the ways of connecting to the web with my phone . Thanks in advance. :]
There should be an icon in the menu options that connects the phone through your service provider. As far as the map apps go, I'd assume that they would connect automatically to retreive the info that they need. However, I haven't used them so it is hard to say how they operate. The phone can only connect to the internet through the cellular network and is pretty poor at how it works on a phone. P.S. Sorry for the delay in responding.
