need help locking new HDD to make xbox usable!

    need help locking my new HDD using xboxhdm. Followed all steps in there until last step...locking HDD. When i try to lock the HDD(lockhd -a)it says "eeprom.bin not found on CD ROM" Yet i KNOW its on there in its proper spot, xboxhdm/linux/eeprom...
    so what gives why is it not working
    any suggestions or solutions would be great!

    did you double check on the cd that it is there indeed? also, try the command to unlock it, maybe it is locked already? also you could try re-doing it again

    Try to use the Slayer's Evox lock/unlock hard drive option.
