sup everybody. sorry to bother, because i know this question has been asked and i've searched, but can't find a good answer for it. i would appreciate any help. here's my probelm.

i have a hig dollar toshiba dvd player, but when i try to play vcds, it doesn't play worth crap, and thats bout everyone of them, but sometimes they do work decent.

i've burned bruce almighty, matrix reloaded, and a couple more(all are usually svcd centropy downloads), and i always have the same problems. i play them and they load up, but the video will pause throughout the cd making it like it's catching up or freezing and starting again. the weird thing is that the sound almost all the time keeps up even though that the video will have its pauses. always use nero to burn my vcds, cause on the svcd centropy downloads, when i use cdrwin it want play in my standalone dvd player. also, when i go to burn the extracted image from a movie using vcdgear in nero, it always says something about re-encoding the file, turn off standard compliance and burn, or cancel. i always just turn off standard compliance and burn.

lately i've been just watching them on the computer, but i really wanted to watch the last few on the big tv.

if anybody can help me out with some info on my problems, it would be great. not like i've just started in doing this, just haven't got around to asking for help. i've never really used tmpgenc, i've looked at it a couple times even though i've had it on my cpu for like 2-3 years.

    but anyways, thanks snowcrash
