Need help,Micro Sd/M3 Simply

    (Been posting this on loads of sites,but still have no help,so lets hope this site can help :D )

    Need some help.

    My M3 simply works with my 1Gb Micro Sd card,
    But it wont work with my new 2Gb Micro Sd card.

    I tried transferring all files from the 1Gb to the 2Gb.

    but says "Couldnt find Ds_Menu.dat"


    I have a feeling its because its not formatted When i try formatting it on Vista it says "Windows Could Not Format".

    I even downloaded the Pandora app that formats micros sds,but it said it couldnt find the drive or something...........

    I seriously need help,as i need more space to download more games.........

    I just bought this card,and really want to use it

    sounds to me like your new 2gb memory card has become corrupt.

    first are you using the sd adapter that comes with the micro sd memory and if so just make sure the little slider lock button on the side of the adapter is in the up position ( down position is locked and write protected ).

    iff your not using the sd adapter then forget that ^^

    sometimes when a pc cant format the memory card then i try using a mobile phone or digital camera to format them.

    iff they cant format it then im afraid it will have to be a new memory card .

    ps. as a last resort try the panasonic formatter - http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/download/sd_formatter.html download at the bottom of the page .

    Hey,Thanks for your reply.

    Firstly,i have no sd adapter (Didnt come with the micro sd)

    Tried the Panasonic formatter,says it cant regognise the drive or something,but will try again(Since i did it on my old Xp computer)

    Also,i formatted it on my mobile phone,but does that mean its 100% ok for the ds ???

    I also moved all the files from the new firmware 1.14 onto the card,but still get the message :

    Couldnt find Ds_Menu.dat even though it is on the card :(

    formatting with your mobile will be fine .

    once you download th v1.14 and unzip it are you copying the 2 folders and 2 files to your memory card

    on your memory card you should now have the following and nothing else -

    folders - _system_ + moonshl

    files - _DS_MSHL.NDS + _DS_MENU.DAT

    is that right ? if so try it in your m3 simply .
