I am running into the same problem as someguy11 with Avi2Dvd... plz help.. I've now read the guide over several times and still same problem

This is the actually error that I'm getting:
Avisource: couldn't locate a decompressor for fourcc yv12
    (E:\Avi2dvdtemp\Avisynth_script_file.avs, line2)

Looks like its an error with avisynth but how do I fix that?

Guys... I had the very same problem quite a time ago... check this post ( http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/191523 )

It seems you've got a missing codec, that's why when the program tries to compress it doesn't know where to find the proper codec.

Use AVIcodec to tell you which codec you're missing and then go to the software page to get it.
