well.... i haven't been on this site for the longest.so like a while i use to put alot of things on my xbox but then i just got bored and then i just started doing other things, and now my ftp doesn't want to connect to my xbox anymore like everytime i try to connect it says"limited or no connectivity." so i'm wondering if you guys can tell me how to solve this problem i have? thanx
if you soft modded it and it had been unplugged for any length of time the dash might be all screwed up. if that's not the case, does it still work when you hook it up? are you getting an IP, has your home network setup changed at all?
yeah it is softmodded so do i need to reinstall the dash? yeah it does give me a ip address its all the same except for the f part under the ip address on the evox.nope my home network is all the same.so what do you suggest i do?
if it was my box, which I have fucked up several times, I would just boot directly into the xenium OS and copy the backup I have of my dash over
not really, the xenium chip has a bios you can boot right into that gives ftp access if I totally blow my hard drive up, I can just boot to that and restore the dash. once I have the dash on, I can do whatever the slayers disk reformats everything so if you don't have a backup you lose all of your saves. I prefer not to use that unless I have too. what I'm getting from your posts is that you can boot into the evox dash but FTP just isn't working. I assume you've done all of the basic stuff like checking that FTP is enabled, and it's not blocked by your firewall, etc... wait... when it says limited or no connectivity, are you connecting with a crossover cable?
yeah it says limited or no connectivity but i fixed that already...but it won't connect and yeah i am using a crossover cable.yeah i've done everything gone over everything no mistake.and suggestions?
