I need a program, if their is one, that can scan my audio files in my hard drive then look into the net to correct the artist and song name. I have tons of music from various artists and the problem is that when I download, and I'm sure plenty others, music from limewire sometimes the songs don't have correct song names or artist, because people tend to put all kinds of characters and other stuff that do not go with the file. How does this get on my nerve? Well I have a Creative Zen(mp3) and since the mp3 files don't have the correct artist, and song title....they're scrambled all over the mp3 device, and gets on my nerves because its harder for me to find my favorite songs...I've tried the tag converter that comes with the device, but it still doesn't fix all of the files, please help it would really make my day.
many tag editing programs can access the freedB and automatically tag and rename the mp3 file, but you need the entire album for the freedB to work. the best tagger there is is called tag&rename.
