Need help PC,Device error

and then my mose stops responding.I then put my PC on stand by and the mouse works for a few seconds and then stops working again.I put my PC on stand by a couple of times when my mouse stops working and then it restarts its self.Any suggestions???

reformat and reinstall windows, or try to reapir the partition with your windows xp disk.

 

Thanks for the reply,but I just bought a wireless Microsoft mouse and it works great!!!
