The time has come. I'm upgrading to a quad core, but my current mobo won't support it, so I need to find a new mobo. The problem is I want to keep all of my pevious hardware, so I need the mobo to support a quad core, and have numerous other features. Here's a list of things it needs: Quad core support DDR2 memory slots Minimum of 3 PCI-E slots A slot for my DDR2 PCI-E 1gb video card. (http://www.palit.biz/main/vgapro.php?id=142#spec) IDE Minimum of 4 USB ports (8 preferably) Minimum of 1 Firewire port (I only need 1) All help is greatly appreciated. Any questions can be asked here.
Why do you need three PCIe slots? If you run an nvidia GPU and want SLI with three slots, you'll need a triple SLI board, and trust me, you don't want one of those. The DDR2, Quad core support, 4 USBs and firewire is pretty standard fare.
