I have xbox live and I want to soft mod my xbox and still be able to play online, but don't want to mod online because that is cheating. I want to make mods for these games FABLE and Morrowind only.I have an AR, mechassult. I been hearing something about a cross-over cable and I don't know what that is.I wanna be able to restore the oringal MS dashboard when done.
I fogot to tell what type of XBOX I have. I think I have a v1.3 because it was made around 2003 sometime I got it for Christmas.
Dude you cannot play xbox live after softmodding your box. Not unless that is, you revert your box back to its original state. Xbox live aint that good n e wayz!!!!!!!! I used the mechassault hack to softmod my 1.6 box and it all worked ok. Have now added 120 gig hdd, i think that what you can do with a modded box, far outweighs needing to, or wanting to play on xbox live.
