If you want to Play this File on your DVD Player then you can Not use AVI files because AVI is Not the Format used on DVD"s...
This File is Just a DV AVI file ,I don"t Know if it is Type 1 DV or Type 2 DV But I have a Feeling it is Type 1 DV...If you want to Be able to watch this movie on your DVD Player you will have to encode it to DVD Compliant Mpeg2 and then you can "Author" it to DVD..(You can"t "Burn" and File to DVD and Have it Play on your DVD player the File has to be Authored useing a DVD authoring program)..
You can use an Encoder Like "Tmpgenc" to encode the DV AVI file to DVD/Mpeg2 and after encodeing the File will probably Be Much Smaller and will fit on to a Single DVD...The to "Author" the Mpeg2 file to DVD you can use a program Like "Tmpgenc DVD author" or what I use usually is "DVD-Lab" which you can use to add Menu"s and Chapters and to Format to a Video_TS folder which it then Burns to DVD...All of the programs mentioned have 30 day fully working Demo versions available, you can find Links to them on the Software Section of this site....
If you really Just want to burn the DV AVI file as it is to DVD and not be able to watch it then you will First have to convert it to DV Type 2 useing something the the "Canopus DV Format Converter" and then Install a type 2 VFW DV Codec Like the "Sony Dv Codec" or the "Panasonic DV Codec" and then you can use a program Like "Virtual-dub" to cut it in Half which is freeware.....good Luck
