first of all i guess i should say from the start that im using the nec multi format burner with fujifilm dvd-rs and i had to take one simple dvd that had 5 episodes on it and make it 2 dvds sounds simple right well i guess its not ive ripped them authored them burned them with nero and they only play on the burner and ive tried it on 3 different stand alone players ones 4 yrs old ones a ge digital 5803p and surprisingly it wont play on it so i need suggestions at what i could possibly be doing wrong cause i know its not the player so its either the discs or what im using to get it on the dvd
Two methods: 1). Open DVD Shrink, re-author and select only the episode you want. Burn as a data disc (Nero - DVD ROM UDF/ISO) or Record Now (data) and place the files inside a VIDEO_TS folder. Do the same for the second. 2). Rip the whole DVD with DVD Shrink. Open TMPGEnc DVD Author and select the first set of episodes you want. Create output and burn as a data disc (Nero - DVD ROM UDF/ISO) or Record Now (data) and place the files inside a VIDEO_TS folder. Do the same for the second.
