need help w hd upgrade

    i have a xbox v1.1 w a spiderchip ihave slayers v2.6 but i can not intall my 80gig hd in it can some one help me please

    i have try to install my new hd 80gig using slayers but i it would not format the drive i get error 13 so i dont know what to do ?

    my xbox is v1.1 original hd works fine but new hd will not work, hd is a wd 80 gig caviar ide hd i have try all i get is all the folders but i canot copy no files to it i have use slayers , flashftp, new hd intall programs, n nothing works can someone help me plz

    slayers should be able to format and install your dahboard onto your hard drive. Once that is all set up you can then ftp to your box and change whatever you want.

    Your HDD could be SATA, which is not compatible with Xbox.

    it is i get the folders ,c,e,d,f,but i canot intall the software n i get error 13

    error 13 just means that your bios can't find the dashboard. You might have to just use a file manager or ftp into your box with a boot disk to rename a file.
