Need help watching avi, wma, on a cd-r in my home dvd player

    can this be done?

    I copied some videos on a cd-r from the computer.. I now want to watch them on my dvd player at home... can this be done? I am a otal newbie to computers ...

    you will need to convert those files to a mpeg 1 format then burn them into a vcd or svcd format.

    As you have a cd r burner that should be pretty easy using nero.
    Heres a guide for you to look at but if it isnt the one you are looking for just go to the top of the page go to guides and have a look at the vcd and svcd section.
