yes when i copy a dvd with dvd x copy platinum, The original dvd that is being read sounds like it is spinning too fast. then slows down, then slowly speeds up then i hear it jump around inside drive bay. keeps doing just that? any advice-tips would be apreciated. my dvd rom reads dvds at 16x & dvd burner burns at 4x-&-8x I am just hitting simple/ no not rented/ accept/ then the two steps. it asks me to burn after step 1 is complete.
DVD-ROM? Do you mean a DVD video i.e. movie or a data disc? If you are tring to copy a data disc with X copy I'm not suprised it's having a fit. If it's a movie disc then you can try installing DVD idle - this will slow down the drive into a quiet spin without any pick-up loss.
