Right, so I am in the market for a new wireless repeater with ethernet ports. The house I am in is too big for the Actiontec GT724-WG to cover the entire house for everyones needs. I am looking for a way to receive the internet already being put out by the modem and to provide internet for the PC, Mac, and Xbox 360 that are in the basement that cant quite get a solid connection. Cheap and simple is what I am looking for. Anything in the $40-$80 is perfect.

Could really use some advice here. I am at a bit of a loss.

The WRT54GL may be an older model, but it still works great thanks to DD-WRT, and you can get one closer to your minimum price than to your maximum price. Just don't forget the DD-WRT; the stock firmware is trash.
