Hello, I'm hoping that you can help me with a problem I've been having while trying to flash my Hitachi 59dj drive. I have all the latest Ixtreme firmware, PortIO32 installed, the latest Jungle Flasher release and of course the VT6421A Chip set installed with drivers removed (Have tried with drivers installed too). While in jungle flasher with my Xbox connected to my pc jungle flasher will show all the right information, I can even use the send mode B which works perfectly, but then I cannot get a drive letter to be recognized in the pull down menu. Even when I choose to refresh after mode B has been activated it returns with the prompt of "No Hitachi Drives Were Found!" message. I don't understand what I could be doing wrong? I'm NOT on a 64bit, I'm running XP 32bit, I have the latest .NET Framework, I really do not know where to go from here.....I've read and watched about every video and tutorial I can find on the internet and I'm very frustrated knowing that I am literally a few clicks away from flashing my drive. To my knowledge all I have left to do is get jungle flasher to assign me a drive letter and select the flash Ixtreme. If it can find the drive to successfully send mode B in like 0.5 seconds then why am I having so much trouble getting a drive letter to show up in jungle flasher? Maybe I'm just a NOOB or something, but I am literally pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. Any help you could give me on the subject would be very much appreciated~! Thanks for your time,
