NEED HELP with internet connection!

    Sorry didn´t know where to put this so it´s here.
    I can´t connect to internet via broadband. Friend can´t either.
    Maintenance guy could. Then i went to friends house and everything worked ok.
    But not on my own house? Any ideas? I´m really out of them.. Modem looked through many times, nothing. Drivers double-checked, nothing.

    if its not the modem or a computer setting (password/configuration) then it could be the phone line.posting more info would help.

    All connections double-checked, lines OK, modem is D-Link DSL-2640B connected via ethernet cable, also have Zyxel Prestige 600
    XP sp3 as system. Tried new PCI-card, nothing
    For some reason my modem(s) don´t want to communicate with computers. fynnu that my modem works in other location but not here..

    I got IP-address ok but still nothing.
    Getting a bit desperate
