NEED HELP with Microsoft Wireless 7000 Laser Mouse

    Hello,

    So I just bought the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 to use with my new DELL laptop (windows vista operating system).

    However, I cannot get it to work! I'm just wondering if I am doing something wrong? I downloaded the program online as instructed in the packet, I tried to re-set the USB connector and the mouse by pressing the buttons on them, but nothing happens when I move the mouse....

    Any suggestions???

    As soon as you plug in the receiver does USB detect a new device? also (and im sure you have) check the batteries.
