Hello guys I have I consider myself a newbie. I have searched al over the place to try to find a an Overclocking software that will work with my motherboard Processor's speed (Q6600) and memory. The BIOS will not help at all in this matter, I currently have a Nforce 7100/630i and I've heard that 2.4Ghz is not the maximum stable speed that you can achieve with the Q6600.

Can you please help me? I will greatly appreciate it!

    Thanks!

I wouldn't overclock on that board. The nforce 6 is a relatively unstable chipset at the best of times, you have the weakest version of it, you have an integrated graphics chipset which is a further cause of instability, and weak power regulators, since you have a cheap board, which are a big problem with overclocking quads.

I was able to overclock the Nvidia 8800GT. That's why I thought I could have overclocked the processors and memory ... Aw men that's disappointing ... I just want to get a 5.9 on my Windows performance index so that I can beat my buddy ... The lowest sub score is memory and I have the 2 slots occupied with 4 gigs at 800Mhz.

You might be able to overclock the CPU to a small extent, but it would probably reduce the lifetime of your board even further. Graphics overclocks aren't related to CPU overclocks.
