All right. So I got this called Need for Speed two. It's awesome. It's rock. I just can't install it. Here is what the error message says.

    16-bit Windows Subsystem
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "Close" to terminate the application.

At this point you can click close or ignore. Either way it closes. So I was wondering what I need to do. Any advice is appreciated. Oh Im running Windows XP Pro SP1.

This is because the program is not an Windows XP runable program....However... if u go into ur accessories in you programs and system tools go into [bold]Program Compalibility Wizard[/bold]

and go through the wizard and c if that adjusts the problem....

Tried that. Manually by going to properties and also what you mentioned. Any other ideas?

you need to reinstall the file autoexec.nt from your windows disk and then it will run also once you replace the file make a copy of it because sometimes windows or some other program deletes it.
make sure you put the file in the right place which is the same place the error is telling you.
