Need help with Nero Express 6 buring speed (ISO)

OK here goes. For the longest time i had no problems burning an ISO to a DVD. Last week when trying to burn an ISO nero took forever to burn the ISO. I tried it today and it does the same thing it takes like 2 or 3 hours to burn ISO.Im buring at 16x, So i don't know if something got messed up with the program or if my drive is bad. What i have is this.
Nero Express6 Version 6.3.1.20
Memorex DVD+R
DVD-RW Drive "to tell the truth i have no idea what it is"
The ISO were made with DVD Shrink

I have never had a problem using +R's on this drive.

any help would be great.

 

Check to see if DMA has been turned off.

Thats what it was. The IDE Secondary was messed up
