Need help with PC switchover

    I am thinking about getting a used dell 530 Inspiron and I am wondering if I can use my dvd rw or dvd rom from my old pc and place it in the new one. that way I have 2 dvd rw. Can anyone give some help.

    It depends on what the cables are if there both ether IDE or Sata your good but if there not then IDK.

    The mounts in the case for the 530 look fairly standard, and there is one spare, so fitting another drive won't be an issue. The only thing is whether the board has an IDE port on it or not. It looks like it might but I can't guarantee it.
