Hi, this is my first post and my english is not very good, i dont even now if this is the right place for this post so sorry if im wrong
my problem is that i want to place subtitles in a dvd movie using dvdmaestro, i follow the guides and everything is ok but after 20 minutes of movie playback the subtitles start to get out of sync with the movie, and after 1 hour they are completely out of sync

i will explain what i do, I download an avi file from the internet and then i download the subtitles from a page, I play the movie in bsplayer with the subtitles and they are ok all the movie. The movie is in 23,976fps and I suppose that the subtitles are also in 23,976 because if they werent they would get out of sync.
Then i use tmpgenc to encode the movie for dvd ntsc playback in my standalone player, the resulting .m2v file is in 29,97fps (thats what the bsplayer says), then i use subrip to transform the subtitles into a .stl file to use it in dvdmaestro, and then everything goes to hell, the subtitles are completely out of sync with the movie.
I have tried changing the framerate of the subtitles to 29,97 and then using subrip, i have tried a lot of methods but nothing gives me a good subtitles for te dvdmaestro movie, after 20 minutes of playback y can notice that the subtitles are coming out late with the movie
if anybody can help me please i would be very gratefull

Your prayer answered:) LOL - OK here it goes

    Download Time Adjuster
    load subtitle (srt or sub)
    click Synchro
you need to know how much delay in the very last subtitle - in my case usually 5 secs for 90 mins film)
subtract 5 sec from the last subtitle timing
Click ok - it will sychronized then convert to ssa. It almost perfect for me and I'm happy:)))
