Need help with Winavi Converter Ver 7

I use my video card to record a video from my video machine. However it saves the file with no extension. If you look in the setup file its states that it is a avi file. So I rename it to avi and then it plays media player even if I rename it to an mpeg file.

I I try to convert it to a dvd file using winavi converter I get the following message
The video pin can not be connected..



And it wants to send this message to winavi converter site.

What codecs have you got on the PC. Maybe try downloading and installing Xvid and then have another go.

 

find a codec pack, if thats even the problem - or get winavi 6.3, 7.0s a bunch of crap!!!

If have solved the problem. I used Nerovision to do the encoding and I use TMPgenc to do the editing. I burned the DVD and it is working fine.

I have downloaded the codec’s but the program just don’t do it for me.
