i connected my new hdd to my xbox. an error 6 and error 7 come up. also wheni put my original in there are no files on it anymore. i tried putting files on my old hdd but it wont let me. please let me know what to do to get my new hdd in and the xbox back up and running
An error 7 usually means that your hdd is not properly connected. Try checking to see if the IDE cables are properly attached.
checked all the cables and everything is secure and tight in place. i sometimes get an error 6, 16 and 21. cant boot to the x3 os for some reason either. also the hdd has nothing on it. do i need to format the new one?
