Ok to backup a game cube game there is a guide here in AD http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/61273 to play your backups directly from the cube (no need to hook up to your pc) you need to get a mod chip, burn the iso files (which should have 1.35gb in size) with nero which should put no trouble then inserted into your cube and depending on your chip and Bios or you can either boot the game directly or Swap it with an original, just to rememeber you every burner cd reader DVD music player has this little mini disc slot for convenience so dont think that is exclusive in your burner, as a recomendation I suggest the Ritek Ridata Mini DVD at 4x, or the Verbatim (made by prodisc) Mini DVD at 4x, Gl hope it helps ;)

No you cant Game Cube Mini DVD's cant be read by normal DVD drives, in order to backup games you need to stream the game from the gamecube to your pc at a 10 mbps (sucks), actually there is no other way to backup gamecube games Srry :(

ok thats fine but after i ''stream'' the orgianal and back it up do i have to stream the backup to play it or can i just pop in the back up in my moded system and the chip boot it and play it like normal(prays lol)?and if i can just pop in the backup and play it which i hope i can is there any loss in movies or actual play(in speed terms like framerate loss slowdown etc.) in the game from streaming from the orginal to back it up?

Ok why do you think we called a modded system ;) Its because you can play your backups games directly from the disc your burned (yay!!! yay!!!!!!!! :p), so after streaming the game to your computer the file to burn should be 1.35gb and .ISO file (if you get a .GCM file just renamed to .ISO), so burn the file you streamed from your gamecube burn it in Mini DVD (ritek ridata and Verbs work really well) and boot it up on the cube, there wont be any speed downs, no movie lost, the game will stay the same, If you decide to stream a game from your computer to the cube you will probbably get slowdowns and other trouble because of the low transfer speed (10mbps) the cube broadband adapter has.

PS: Burn the backups with Nero remember to finalize the DVD's, and remember there is always the possibility that you will need to ajust your cube laser POT.

you should probbably burn your backups at no more than 4x, we cannot know if you need to ajust your laser POT until you test different media, even if you use full sized DVD there still may be the possibility of needing to ajust the laser POT, so until you dont test it we wont know.

    http://gchack.free.fr/rippers.htm

Although in french you can easily understand "Gamecube Ripping server" downloaded from there and follow the instructions as said in the afterdawn guide...GL
