    Hi

Just wondering if anyone could advise me? I bought a Sony DVD handycam but unfortunately had my laptop stolen with the software disc. I contacted Sony but they are asking $120 for the software CD. After looking at some submissions it appears that the software isn't that good anyway. Does anyone have ny suggestions about how I can access and edit the videos? The editing software with XP dosen't recognise the videos which seem to have .VOB .BUP and .IFO file formats. This is the first chance I've had to use the camera and would be grateful for any help or suggestions but please bear in mind I'm not that familiar with computers. Many thanks

Unfortunately, I don't have any help to throw at you. What I'm asking of you though is to please name your post a little better than "need help". Quite often I go through and search unanswered posts as do a lot of us and seeing your title is...well, describing everyone's situation. Plus it's a request in the rules of the Afterdawn forum. THANKS.

Sorry. Should I repost this with a more appropriate title?

It would help. I almost skipped over it. And thanks for not taking offense to my post.

    MUCH RESPECT.
