NEED HELP

i was softmodin my box and i clicked format hard drive now i cant get to my dash board. i deleted everything on my hard drive when i clicked format hard drive. so is there any way i can get my dash board back.

 

If you can see the white microsoft logo under the big X and xbox logo at the begining of start up then you might be able to recover with a slayer's or aid disk or you can do a hotswap, hotswap fix. If not then you will have to unlock the hard drive, and install new files. If you have a backup of the hdkey or eeprom then this will be easy you can use xbox hd maker to do this. If not then you will have to get an eeprom reader to read the hdkey off the motherboard. you can build or buy one of these just search and you will find guide for it.

yea but i dont understand ftp and all that stuff. its trial and error. and i dont have any friends close by who have modded boxes. so i have to try the things that ppl say on this

 

hotswap is actully hard if you look into it
