Need help

I keep getting this error message http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q297/fireman500/123.gif I clicked ok and tried exiting put it just pops back up. Is there anything I can do?

 

What did you install and what are you trying to open when you get this? What are you doing?

 

Reminds me of a virus.

 

I don't really remember installing anything. It just pops when I start windows and doesn't go away.

 

start windows in safe mode and run a virus scan.

 

Trojan viruses are among those that need the most help being installed by you even if you're not aware you're doing it...

However..the majority of the other virus/worm types....don't need any interaction on your part. All you have to do visit a compromised web page, look at a downloaded video, listen to a corrupted song...or view a pic from an email from someone you don't even know.
