What are your PC specs? It may be that your PC can't handle iTunes.

what were you doing with your computer when itunes stopped working? perhaps a program you installed has messed it up or something. did you do any updates, or new serive pack, or virus software? try downloading an older version of it maybe.

i guess an older version would work cause it was with the lastest one and using that there was another mess up like songs would play right while uploading. i wouldnt know where to find an old version of it cause the itunes apple site only posts new ones. i guess i could try download.com. oh, it was from the apple site is where i downloaded it from

You may need to completely remove the previous version of iTunes from your PC. It may have something to do with the registry.
