Need Media Player that can play MKV files for Windows NT

    Does anyone know a Media player/codec that can play MKV files and AVI files and is compatible with Windows NT?

    Thanks for any help.

    get cccp, it installs codecs and players for everything.

    well...i think the current version of cccp is to advance for Windows NT and i tried searching for a lower version for thats compatible with NT but couldn't find one as of now.

    Not sure about what it plays or compatibility but VLC player has played everything i have thrown at it so far.

    Or possibly WinAmp

    i already checked and the likelyhood that winamp plays mkv natively is not that likely however i believe that u can install a codec for it
