Hi folks, My Sony DAV S550 Home Cinema System has become very erratic during playback and now i think i need to replace it. Im Looking for feedback on what to replace it with, My needs will be similar performance in sound, Blueray not an option at the moment as i am still not HD ready (still impressed with my old Sony TV), what i want from the player is compatability with DVD-R backups, MP3 playable, what have you got that you can recommend to me guys. cheers

Go to Wal Mart and get one of the $30 dvd players, to hold you, until you can go Blu..........
