I managed to get my divx movie converted to mpeg. but couldn't get the whole movie on a CD-R. Dont have a DVDburner. Is there anyway to shrink this to fit the entire movie on 700MB CD-R? I'm using TMPGEnc.

Just a note, You said you don't have a dvd burner...These can be picked up very cheaply nowadays and would be a good invetment to consider if you intend to a lot of divx and dvd stuff....

Just a little info for ya ;)

    Hi jasstac,
DivX (or XviD) movies will fit on 1 CD. MPEG2 (DVD) will not!
You have a DivX. When you convert it to MPEG2 it will be much bigger - around 8x bigger.
You already have it! Leave it MPEG4 AVI.
Can you make a DVD fit on a CD? No! or hollywood would be doing it,
    Regards
