Saw this posted on a different "science type board" and found it interesting. This company is trying to raise venture capital for an invention they claim will "change everything." They make some lofty claims and it sounds impressive -if it's legit.

The fact that they say this on their home page:

The first thing they say is it might be an empty boast. Then they string you along with a gigantic "What if?".

What if I come up with a cure for cancer and an easy solution for cold fusion tomorrow? It's within the realm of possibility is it not?

Anybody asking for my money gets my immediate and very strong skepticism.

ok here's the deal, everyone at afterdawn needs to send me $5 and i "might" send you $20 back if i hit the lottery with all your money!! A stupid attempt to scam your cash you say? perhaps, but what if i'm telling the truth?? Just think, for $5 you might get back $20!! sounds to good to be true eh? well you're probably right, but "what if" it's not?? something to think about.
and for a special 1 time only deal, i'll let YOU decide on how much money you want to send me. So if you sent me lets say $500, i "might" send you back $2000!!! you might never have to work again, just keep on sending me money, and I "might" send you back a good steady income. oooh dare to dream!! Be sure to act now, this offer "might" not last long.

get a life people, if you want something you gotta work for it. Dont fall for this stupid shit. If it doens't make any sense, or seems like you just got the luckiest break in the world, you're probably getting ripped off.

Sounds like a big pile of horse crap to me.

If you want to invest with that company, I suggest boosting your luck by hunting leprechauns and four leaf clovers, I've heard that this hairy wee Leprechaun named Dela has a pot of gold by a rainbow....

Just don't get him angry or he'll give you a tail like a donkey.
Although with his harsh Irish burr he sounds bloody angry all the time...
