Alright now I'm what you might call your average Halo 2 Online Gamer. And I like nothing more than throwing it down on Xbox Live testing my skill against other players. Problem is...after you reach a certain level (30 or so) all I seem to run into are people modding. So what I want to know how to do is edit my xbox so that those maps will no longer load. Xbox live will detect them but they wont ever load so I don't ever play them. Any ideas on how I should go about doing this? My setup is modem->router->cpu and xbox. Cru3lty

first off the only way u can do that is by basically softmodding ur xbox so thats no good, ud have to delete the maps off ur hd. ur best luck is just bridging someone host and listening to ur box to make sure its an old map
If u soft mod your xbox, create an msdash, and then ftp to your box you could open the folders that contain the map files and delete those only and leave all the updates and other files in there folders then restore your msdash and delete the softmod exploit halo 2 mathmaking will see that u have the maps downloaded but when u start a game with a downloaded map it will not load or in matchmaking u will return to the party room.
