Hey everyone this is my first thread here, but i have been reading around here for a while now. i downloaded wedding crashers last night and it came with two great quality avi files. there is no sound when i try to play it in quick time 7 pro, but it plays perfect in my VLC Player. i tried burning it to DVD using toast 7 titanium and it burned great and played wonderful on my tv. only problem is there is no sound, just video. Any ideas or am i doing something wrong. Thanks again for all of your help. Dennis
I can assume that AVI has AC3 soung which your PC cannot play, for instance. Do this simple check: load that AVI with VirtualDubMod and do Stream___Stream List. What does it appear? Ah, if it is an AC3 stream you just have to press 'Demux', extract the AC3 sound stream and insert in your authoring program as audio input (probably it only loaded that AVI as video input). Sorry, but I don't know toast 7 titanium, I'm a PC user. I'm quite sure there is a way to add audio in the authored DVD , in toast 7 titanium. Look for 'audio input'...
