I'll answer one of your questions. Get rid of your CD burner. Set the jumpers as master on the DVD burner and slave on your DVD ROM. Also, you can probably take the CD drive audio cable and connect it to your DVD Burner.
thanks i figured i should use my dvd rom instead of cd burner ive heard u put wear and tear from reading and writing with the dvd burner where i could read with my dvd rom drive plus a dvd burner can burn dvds right
put your hdd with the os on it as master and your second hdd as slave.... make sure these two are on your primary controller on your motherboard... in your BIOS first boot should be floppy, then hdd, then cd-rom, which in this case would be your dvd drive.
in the bios put the floppy, cd/dvd drive & hd in that sequence so you don't need a floppy to boot off 1st but can use a cd to boot from
