Need to find a free download for photoshop

    I am interested in starting a cross stitch pattern. I have a copy of an art photo saved on my computer. I am interested in downloading a free program that would allow coverting the picture to a cross stitch pattern. Any inputs?

    googles very own program(i think its gooles) "picassa" may do the job it seemed like a free simple version of photoshop to me when i tried it out, but now i have photoshop.

    Give it a try let me know how you get on

    You should use a program such as GIMP or GIMP shop for beginners. Picassa also works good. Google "image editors" and search for some freeware. Also you can use paint.net (freeware) at

    There are tons of applications that can work on photo's but you might be better off spending the money and purchasing photoshop elements.
