I have a rather large VOB file that is many video clips put together and I need to through and split them all...anyone have a good program to do that with? I have Nero but Nerovision seems to screw up everytime I try to use it...the video and audio get off sync while I'm editing and such...

If the VOB is part of a standard DVD folder (ifo, bup, vob files)then DVD Shrink can be used to open the folder and in 'Reauthor' mode, to select the clip and save it to a separate DVD folder.

Load the VOB file and it will output a standard folder.

    http://dl.afterdawn.com/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_v0.5.2b.exe
Import the file(s) (AVI, WMV,MPEG, VOB)
Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD.
Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv)
Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)

VideoReDo Plus can cut it in a matter of minutes. You can find a link to a 30 day trial version in our software section and 3 guides on setting it up and basic editing in our guides section.

well i tried to cut it but it keeps messing up...

when I go to cut it, if I let the video play normal it works fine but if I try to click in the bar (like to skip ahead) it gets weird, like I'll click a millimeter ahead (should be like 5 seconds in the movie) and it skips ahead like 5 minutes! IDK but I'm getting really tired of trying to get this to work :(
