just a quick question, i want to sign up with a domain provider for my website. to be clear, i already have a website that isn't a ".com", and basically i just want whatever site i set up to forward to my real site.

i know there's go daddy. but wondering if there's other providers out there that are cheaper but do the same service.

any help would be much appreciated.

I've used dnsexit.com in the past. I mainly used them because my cable ISP blocked certain ports that I needed to run my email and webservers. They offer several other features as well. I can't comment on GoDaddy because I've never used them, but I thought dnsexit offered good service and a fair price.
