hi i am new to dvd backup, so new i haven’t decided on a dvd writer drive yet. i have been trying out various software (dvd shrink etc) while deciding on the best dvd drive to get, but when i open Nero there is no dvd support. is this because i dont have a dvd writer in my system? or do i need an update/plugin? or do i need to upgrade to ver.6 ?
Hi Alerad, the dvd option in nero 5 only shows up when a dvd rewriter is present i had the same concern 2 weeks ago before i got my dvd rewriter. Also you will need to download the latest update from the nero website (nero551054.exe) and install and you shouldnt have a problem. Link Below http://nero.com/en/631933457317970.html
