I'm trying to backup a DVD. All the files have been ripped and compressed with DVD-Shrink 3.0b5. When I drag and drop the VOB files into Nero Express Video CD it attmepts to process them and then replies "unsupported file format". I've done this procedure before and it's worked ok on other films. The VOB files run fine through PowerDVD. Is there anything that I'm doing wrong??? Thanks in advance.
Actually, the process is a little more complicated than that ;-) I wouldn't recommend packages like DVD-Shrink if you're not sure how to use the converters (look for DVD2VCD in the software. This should convert your VOB to an MPEG-1 for VCD file which Nero will recognize.
