Hello. I have a problem with Nero 6.6: I can't copy (on the fly dvd to dvd copy). The target dvd was made with dvd shrink ( only the main movie ) . Every time the same message: Disk blank or invalid and the process is cancelled. In Nero 6 (previous version) everything OK hundred of times. I use tayo yuden first quality media. Thanks in advance.
i suspect this is linked to your other thread re the buffer dropping to 0MB/sec - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/242293 let's have the LAST section of your Nero log, which lives in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar..
@pan68, Please don't burn on the fly - it is not recommend by the many experiences members here at afterdawn.com; not only that but it is more likely to produce coasters. It is good that you're using high quality media such as the famous Yuden. Now all you need to do is make sure to backup or burn at 4X. Again, please do as Creaky had mentioned so it's easier for him (or other members with the experiences) to help you tweak things out. Trust me, I know what I said and even though I rarely visited the Nero forum, I know for sure that Creaky is the guy you need to ask for in regards to Nero issues. I'm pretty familiar with Nero and its log, but I'm sort of lazy you know. Cheer up now
Thanks for the answers. I believe that it has nothing to do with my other problem with Shrink. ( It looks like Nero 6.6 and Dvd Shrink try to make me crazy) The strange is that when I use nero 6 everything is ok. this is only happening with Nero 6.6. Now I have Nero 6 and everything ok. (maybe is something related to the serial that I use- Is there any possibility that if u put the wrong serial, Nero starts but with some features locked?? Anyway it is not so tragic, and nero 6 do the job
