I have been usin Nero 6 (with all the latest updates) for some time with no problems whatsoever, but today anytime I try to copy a CD, as soon as Nero begins to read the CD (any CD, I tried several) I get the dreaded "Black Screen" and the computer reboots. Everything else seems to work fine......running Win XP home, 512 meg ram, LG GSA 4163b DVD R/W, LG GCE-8520b CD R/W. The DVD is new but it has been working fine, installed it about 2 weeks ago. thanks for the help in advance..... Jeff R.
Nero will NOT copy protected cd's.(or dvd's) for that matter. Use a ray scanner to detemine if the cd has protection, If it does you alcohol 120% and select the correct datatype.
