I have succesfully converted my DVD to MPEG files and load into NERO 6 to begin burning them on CD-R. Only when I go to burn I get an error message saying my CD recorder is already in use by another application? I have tried everything, but get same message. Any ideas?
Check your task manager if you are using Windows Xp to see if there are any burning problems running!
There was a process DirectCD that was listed so I ended that task and will give it try. Hopefully that was the problem. Thanks
i had the same problem as originole and went to task manager. I found DirectCD and ended that task but it still gave the same error message. I tried to identify other applications that might be utilizing the drive and still it could not find the drive not being occupied. Finally I downloaded recordmax and that worked without any problems
I never could get Nero to work as it kept coming up with the same error message. I used NTI CD Maker 2000 and it worked like a charm. Does RecordNow Max work for making VCD's, or is only for use with a DVD Burner? Is there a free version and if so where can I download it?
