NVE will not accept avi files. I used TMPGenc to produce MPEG2 files even though Nero is SUPPOSED to make these when capturing from the camcorder. Then NVE will not transcode the MPEG files claiming that NeAcEnc.dll is missing even though it is present for duty! I copied this .dll and placed it in verious file folders and lo NVE worked ONE time then went back to the error message game. Nero either does not give intelligent answers from their help desk or it is too slow. Does anyone have any ideas on how to MAKE this work? This program is an all inclusive system that should do evey step in making a DVD so please do NOT suggest that I buy yet another program. I already have another program that works perfectly but I have to fix this NERO issue!
I've always found Nero to be a pile of pi*s when encoding anything. It may have changed in Nero 6, but i doubt it. TMPGEnc DVD Author would fix your problem, but i wont mention it. Oops too late ;-)
you need to replace the NaAcEnc.dll with the one from: http://nctuccca.nctu.edu.tw/ftp/Windows/Tools/File/Nero/support_doc/ Or just change your audio setting from digital to stereo. Hope this helps.
