Nero 6 SVCD burning

    I'm quite new to burning movies and know a little bit can anybody help me please i've got a file i downloaded which is 600mb i'am trying to convert this to svcd on nero6 it tells me that i have not enough disk space. So i've figured the file is obviously compressed and i split the file into two then went to convert again with the same result no disk space can anybody tell me how to convert to svcd anyfile if its compressed thankyou

    How long is the movie? When doing encoding only 2 things affect the size of your output file. These things are bitrate used and total length of the movie. You can only fit around 45 minutes of good quality video on an SVCD. Anything longer will deteriorate video quality proportionately.
