Nero 6 v. Nero 8--can the latter verify copies

    I have two machines: an old one with XP and a new one with Vista.
    The old machine has XP and Nero 6 full. I mainly use Nero to copy disks cd and non-commercial dvds. I love the verify feature which checks to see if the copy exactly matches the original.

    I just got Nero 8 for my Vista machine because Nero 6 doesn't work on Vista. I can copy disks but no verify option appears to be present. Maybe I am not seeing it. Is this correct? Nero 8 is bloatware (so is Vista) but no verify?

    Am I wrong? If not, what should I use to verify without shelling out a bunch more money.

    not sure with nero v8?

    but imgburn will verify and is probably a better program (free too)
