I need some expert advise on witch software is better, Nero 6 or EAC. I want to compile different tracks off of different audio cd's. I don't want to carry alot of cd's with half of the songs I don't even listen to. Everyones advise will be greatly appreciated.
You can rip you favourite music from you CDs to MP3 or WAV using WMP10, then burn to audio CD using Nero.
EAC (Exact Audio Copy) is hands down, 100 percent the best ripper there is. I would not use anything else. Do not use Nero, WMP, or anything else. EAC is the only programs that has extensive proffesional features, and is the only program that does secure rips to ensure a 100% accurate rip. When ripping with EAC, and encoding with the LAME mp3 plugin use VBR 192 or 256 kbps settings, you will create the best quality mp3s possible. We have a guide here showing you how to install, configure, and use EAC. you can find the link to it in my sig below...good luck!
